Airport Passengers To Enjoy Some Revelry Following New Gin Partnership

Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen has welcomed the news that Teesside Airport’s passengers can now enjoy a shot of Revelry pre-flight following a new partnership with a local gin distillery.
Following a five-figure investment, Yarm based Revelry Spirits has agreed a 12-month collaboration which will see them represented in the airport’s Transporter Bar and Goosepool Bar.
The partnership follows a long line of local businesses now represented within the newly refurbished terminal, joining the likes of Rockliffe Hall, Rejoy and House of Zana and Forsocksake amongst many others.
The local gin distillery situated on Danby Wynd, Yarm High Street, distils, bottles and labels every product in-house and has recently launched their own premium naturally filtered vodka. All spirits are distilled using Swale Valley Spring Water from Richmond, North Yorkshire, filtered through limestone rock in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
As part of the deal, passengers will view a series of Revelry Spirits promotional videos displayed on digital LCD screens throughout the airport. The advertising package also enables the distillery to gain traction through branded signage that has been installed at the bar areas.

“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our local economy and as we continue to recover from the impact of the coronavirus its more important than ever that our budding entrepreneurs have the chances to promote their products.
“By partnering with this local distillery we are able, once again, to keep the money we spend in our region and put it back in the pockets of local people from across Teesside, Darlington and Hartlepool.”

Teesside International Airport serves a range of domestic and international destinations including Aberdeen, Amsterdam Schiphol, Belfast City and London Heathrow. It also has seasonal routes to Alicante, Antalya in Turkey, Bulgaria, Corfu, Dublin, Faro, Jersey, Lake Garda, Majorca, Newquay and Southampton.
