We’ve made it quick and easy to check in at Teesside International Airport. Whether you check in online or in person, we won’t keep you hanging around.
As each airline has its own approach to online check-in, it’s best to check with them in advance to find out what you need to do.
Passengers who have checked in online but who have hold luggage will then need to drop their bags off at the check-in desks. Passengers who have checked in online and only have hold luggage can then proceed directly to security.
Whether you check in online or at the airport, you still need to get to the airport in sufficient time to pass through security and reach departures for your boarding time.
Ryanair passengers are advised to arrive at the airport 3 hour before their flight departs.Check
With up to three hours free parking, you can get dropped off at the airport without any extra charges. You will see our dedicated check-in area to the far left as soon as you enter the terminal – just one minute’s walk from the car park. These desks will help whisk you to your destination in no time. To find the right desk, just look for the airline logo on the screen above the desk.
To save time at check-in, it helps to have your tickets or booking confirmation and passport ready. When it comes to packing hand luggage, please try to make sure your bag only contains your valuables and things you’ll need during your journey.
Our advice is to arrive at least two hours before your scheduled time of departure
Also, before you fly examine your ticket or booking confirmation for your airline’s check-in advice. If you need to check-in in person, or if you’ve got bags to drop off, it’s a good idea to arrive at least two hours before your departure time.
Depending on the airline you’re flying with, check-in normally closes between 30 and 40 minutes before departure, so please arrive in plenty of time. Boarding normally begins around 40 minutes before departure.
