We’re looking for a Chef to come and join our friendly team. You will be responsible for working to environmental health standards, preparing & cooking meals for our diners, ensuring the cleanliness of all food storage and preparation areas, kitchen inventory management and assisting in the development and delivery of menus.

Monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality

Ensure quality control measures and hygiene systems are achieved at all times.

Follow the budget established by the Food & Beverage Manager

Follow safety and environmental health practices in the kitchen and familiarise yourself with Teesside International Airport Health and Safety Policies and ensure your areas promote and comply with them

Keep up with industry trends and assist the Food and Beverage Manager in updating menus accordingly

Maintain all equipment within the catering operation through due care and diligence as instructed

Ensure operational areas are properly cleaned and prepared for all functions each day

Any other ad-hoc duties which may occur from time to time and are considered to be within the post holder’s capability, to ensure business continuity.

While at work the post-holder will be expected to comply and co-operate with the company’s Safety Management System (SMS) and is reminded of the employee’s responsibilities as detailed in Sections 7 & 8 of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
