Spring has well and truly sprung at Teesside – but there is now another chance to grab a winter getaway of a lifetime from our airport in 2026.
A fantastic trip to meet Santa is now on sale operated by the The Lapland Experience in partnership with Murray Travel for 17 December. The one-day trip to Rovaniemi – the official home of Santa Claus, offers a full festive itinerary including husky sledding, a reindeer sleigh ride, snow sledging and a private meeting with the big man himself.
Guests will also enjoy a hot buffet lunch and time to explore the world-famous Santa Claus Village, before flying back to Teesside later that evening.
It comes as this year’s popular Lapland flights with Transun have already sold out.
The Lapland Experience is part of the Murray Travel Group, a family-run, award-winning travel company based in the Highlands of Scotland which specialises in organising holidays and travel packages.
As well as Teesside, the family firm currently offers Lapland getaways from Inverness, Derry, Southend, Newquay and Aberdeen.
