Cargo Operative

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15,873.00 per year

Expected hours: 25 per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out cargo screening using X-ray and other security methods
• Load/unload vehicles, build/break down pallets, and maintain warehouse cleanliness
• Accurately label, document, and store cargo
• Use scanning systems to log shipments and process customs/security declarations
• Support airport operations and security teams when required
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Keep inspection facilities clean and organised
• Complete daily equipment checks and inventory logs
• Prepare and verify cargo paperwork
• Promote a culture of safety and flexibility across the team
